My old CF-25CG82AAG is now probably really dead. If I switch on the unit, the lights go on, numlock is keeping on, the harddisk starts turning, the BIOS shows the memory test (16MB), and then I got a message:" Please run SETUP program. Press F1 key to continue. ". If I press the F1 key it makes a beep, the cursor is blinking and short after that I got the text: "I9990305". Nothing else. None of my other machines want to get access to the hdd of the CF-25. So probably the hdd is defective.
I had put in an other 60GB hdd preformated with two fat16 partitions. The first with 800MB and DOS6.22. Same error.
I tried to disassemble the Tb. But it was impossible to get a complete look under the mainboard, because the port replicator did not allow me to get the board out of the frame. (But I had seen, the processor is different to the younger models...). So I only unsoldered the BIOS battery, which was very good (Battery tester) after the years... I have it since 1998...so I soldered the battery back on the MB, but no luck. Same error....
Has anyone an hdd-image of an CF-25? Any suggestions?
