Hi guys, i was wondering, it's possible to make a cf28 that boot from a cf card (4 or 8 gb) installed with an adapter, inside the third (hidden) PCMCIA socket ?
It should be seen as a mass storage connected to the 32bit bus, am i right ?

I don't think you have that option in the BIOS unless there is a way around it.

I have run three different CF-28's (Mk2,3) with a compact flash with adapter in the harddrive caddy but haven't tried it in the "hidden" spot. You may be able to do a work around with using a floppy drive in the media bay and booting with Plop linux, but if the bios has it locked out you will be out of luck on that.
