My CF28 has developed a couple of "issues" and I am hopeing someone can offer a suggestion.
#1 the sound has stopped working from the net or cds the ms sound test says all is ok. I get a VERY short sound bit when using the fn sound mute keys toggleing the sound off / on

#2 most of the time when I have to use the modem it only works if I reboot the computer after start up. But about 30% of the time it is fine right away.
Not critical but annoying. I have ATT broadband that only works when it feels like it due to location (iphone loses 3g or web here all the time as well)

    any input greatly appreiated!!

    Fred -

Long time no screen! Good to know them grizzlies hain't gotcher yet!

Try plugging/unplugging a headphone in the headphone jack a few times, then try listening through the headphones; if that still doesn't work, try uninstalling then reinstalling the audio device from device manager.

What kind of MODEM? What type of connection?

    mnem
