Hi, here are some pics of my last work (last finished work), is a gps cyrocom patch antenna, with a not-well-known sirf III engine, i putted them on a sled adapter that was originally intended for a WWAN card, there's also an USB 2.0 port, the wire was there so... I putted an additional USB port on the left side eh eh.

I hope this can help someone that want to put a gps in this rugtop (ruggedized-laptop).

    Great idea!

Is the switch for the GPS or for the USB port?

Is for the GPS, to switch it on and off, it draw about 80mA, not huge current, but it's 0.8A in ten hours and 8A in 100 hours (about 4 days), so is better to keep it switched off to preserve battery operation. There's no battery onboard but the module get a fix in about a minute, i can wait a minute so there' no battery.
