    CF29 Spring Loaded Pockets?

    I've tried searching with no success. Maybe I'm using the wrong terms.

    Can anyone tell me what the pockets with the springs in them are at the rear bottom corners of the CF29?

    They don't really make it spring out of the mount so I imagine they are used more as an extra ground source between the laptop and mount.

    I put bolt thread protectors in mine to keep crap out. They are two different sizes.
