Hello, all. I'm new here so bear with me. I checked out the FAQ section and it definitely helped a lot, but I cannot find anything as to the issue I am having. I think I know what's up but want to double check.

I have a CF29 with the above model number, but the touchscreen doesn't even show up in my list of devices in device manager>mice and other pointing devices. Everything in BIOS checks out and it is enabled but could the reason that it isn't there is that whoever did the install of the OS didn't do it properly or didn't know/care to DL the right drivers? I was planning on doing a fresh install of XP anyway but wanted to run this by someone here first. Other than that issue, everything seems fine. The wireless is working, it's a very clean unit overall, and I am going to install more memory straight away.

I did check out the FAQ about the DLing the drivers and checking the properties in the device manager, but I don't have the touchscreen option there so that's why I went and posted. Thank you in advance for your help.

    -E

***EDIT*** Please disregard this post...I downloaded the driver package from one of the sites listed in the FAQ's and everything works like a charm. Thank you all, sorry for posting a bit premature.

probably been said already, but get your hands on the origional restore discs from panasonic and if the TS is functional and in working shape you should be able to get it all working. Some of the guys here may be able for a small very reasonable fee help you get your hands on a set for this model. If not a guy on eba Mark Hawkins has had the disc set for sale, if you have the cd/dvd media bay drive you can do it quicker and then just upgrade the xp to the latest version. It really is a time saver and all you need is there....Driller
