CF30 Mk3, reinstalled windows 7 and ran through my driver install in the following order
    Gps disabled in bios

    01_OSINFFileDrv_v9.1.1.1019_30K_30L
    02_PnaCommonCmp_v2.00l11_30K_30L_W7
    03_PnaMiscDrv_v1.2.1100.0_30K_30L_W
    04_SoundDrv_v6.10.1.6585_30K_30L_W732_
    05_VideoDrv_v8.15.10.1872_30K_30L_W
    06_ModemDrv_v7.80.4.0_30K_30L_W732_ss6
    07_TouchPadDrv_v1.0.0.3_30K_30L_W732_s
    09_HotkeyDrv_v11.1.1100.0_30K_30L_W
    010_HotkeyAppendix_v9.00l10_30K_30L_
    011_HotkeySetting_v2.01l11_30K_30L_W
    012_TouchscreenDrv_v1.0.1.0_30K_30L_W73
    013_PnaNotification_v1.03l11_30K_30L_W7
    016_DynamicPowerPerfMgmtDrv_v3.02.00.10
    019_MatrixStorageMgrDrv_v8.9.2.1002_30K
    020_ConcealedMode_v1.01l10_30K_30L_W732
    023_BatteryRecal_v2.02l10_30K_30L_W732_
    029_SDSecureDLL_v1.1.20.39948_30K_30L_W
    031_BTStackDrv_ver7.00.08_p_30K_30L_W73

Everything worked as expected, including the Touchscreen.

I changed HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\sermouse from 3 to 4 to disable serial mouse search on boot, and it did *not stop the jumpy mouse from the gps on next boot. Also, my touch screen stopped working.

Changed it back to 3, shut down, disable GPS, reboot, and the touch screen was still inoperable.
    Installed the following package
    08_GPSRegistryPatch_v2.00l11_30K_30L_W732_ss6983
enabled gps in bios, rebooted, and gps is working correctly without a jumpy mouse.

Touch screen still didn't work. Tried to reinstall the TS driver (succesfully). Rebooted a couple times.
    TS still doesn't work.

How do I get my TS to work again? I'm pretty sure it's a windows serial thing, and not a hardware failure.

    Thanks, y'all!

More likely it's the nut behind the wheel. :)

What you are talking about is ten year old methodology. If I can do the following, anyone should be able to do it.

    1. Download driver bundle from Panasonic.
    2. Install it on a USB stick.
    3. Install generic W7. (Turn updates and wlan off)
    4. Run .exe file (driver bundle)
    5. Consume favorite beverage.
    6. Glance at screen and find everything is working.

OR, do it the hard way if you so choose.

About half the time I forget to disable GPS.

    ----------------Bottom Line---------------------------
    It's not hard to do.

Since we are friends...."quit mucking aboot with the drivers!"

They went and made it easy!?!?

But I *just got this install all set up.....meh.

Maybe I'll just install that package, now, and if it fouls up, I'll just re-reinstall w7.

    Thanks, Jeff!
