    Hi all,

I was going to post this in the other CF30 no sound thread, but it's locked, so here I am.

Have a new CF30K and after about 2 weeks of daily corporate use, the sound just stopped working. No idea what I did, and of course no good restore points to go back to. So I started digging around and trying all of the usual suspects. Everything looked good, just no sound. Then I tried the old 'remove from device manager and re-install driver on discovery' trick. Still no go.

The solution was to re-install the Fn-hotkey driver, hkeyapp-v8_00l10m00-1930-33-xpxpvi-d081476.exe, from panasonic.ca

    Description:

Once that was in and after a reboot, the taskbar volume icon showed as muted. Hit Fn+F4 and boom! Sound!

I did a little dance, it was great.

Now I just have to figure out why I get to stare at "Applying computer settings" for about 3-5 minutes every time I boot this guy and life will be good.

Here are some extra characters to get past the minimum of 10. I think this should be enough.
