So, after lots of back and forth via threads with this mk1 the bios is not upgradable due to the nature of its custom bios. That is OK. Installed factory GPS which is working like a champ. The finger print scanner is a nice feature especially when powering on or logging onto Windows 7. Bluetooth works great for my Bluetooth headphones. I question the wifi as it does not support 5ghz (can I swap a mk3 wifi board?) connection on it. I wonder if will need the 3rd Antenna for that Draft N and mk3 Software hacked for MK1. Can't forget the super fast SSD on board.

I have a mk2 CF30 that I got for El cheapo. Just have to wait for usps to deliver the Caddy and new sata HD.
No GPS, no finger print. Just wifi, Bt and touch. All toughbook I get have to have touch. I wonder if I should custom camo the casing... I saw Shawn's custom fire engine green CF31 (it looks super!).

    I ran a Ubiquiti SR-71e in my CF-30.
They are high power (400mw)and work very well. They do cost more than the average card.

Left to right; CF29 MK1, CF30 MK2 & CF30 MK1. The mk1 CF30 seems to be the brightest, but color is better on the mk2 CF30. The cf29 screen is so dim and Sucks for sunlight use... Not sure if that's normal on a mk1 cf29.
