I gave up with my battle to make the videocard to work under Windows 10 - that Ati Mobility Radeon 2300 videocard is like forgotten model from the manufacturer![]()
What I am thinking right now is to find a newer card - say Ati 2400 - which works under Windows 10 with no problems. But I never opened my laptop until now and I am unsure if the videocard is on a slot and can be changed and more importantly - will the bios accept that?

You can not change the video. It is part of the motherboard.

You will have to either. Get a Mk2 high end motherboard that will give you a ATI 3650M or just get a whole Mk2 high end and swap your ram, caddy and battery over. You may want to price one even newer for better graphics. The other alternative is to go with a external GPU. But it would be nothing more than a dock while using it as you aren't portable anymore.

The Mk2 HD can be had for less than $100 if you look around,I have one here that I use to hold a sign as the screen is burned, other than that it works great.Hanger queen.

I took a quick spin on ebay and see that the next gen 52's are coming down in price. I found one around 150 the next at 200 dollars range with i5 and 5650
ATI card. The Mk2 with ATI the cheapest I seen was at 100 for complete units. I see you are over seas and would have to find someone to wanting to ship then custom duty's as well. -
It's not a good option for me to buy the whole laptop. I wanted a quick cheap fix. Actually it could be potentially a completely free fix... if amd make a driver for that crappy hd2300
I guess I'll stay with windows 7 hehe
