Ok so I may have to eat my words here..Those words being why ever bother with 64bit Windoze.
I've been checking into CF52 mk3's i3 version.
I am big on 32bit, but I found out that the mk3 has 1400mb(approx) of video ram that is shared ram.
Windoze controls it...
So if 32bit can only use 3200mb and video takes 1400mb of that, that leaves 1800mb to work with...
I may have to reconsider 64bit or look at CF52's with dedicated video ram instead of the low end models with shared ram.

I don't think that's an equal comparison....
Cf52 mk3 is WXGA with 1280 x 800 resolution on a 15.4 screen...The Cf52 mk3 uses a HM55 GPU.
Cf19 mk4 is XGA with 1024 x 768 resolution on a 10.4 screen....The Cf19 mk4 uses a QM57 GPU.
The 88mb Video memory used on your Cf19 is while it is doing nothing...
How much ram does it use while watching videos or large photos?
How much when you have 6-8 Firefox tabs open?
Does your Cf19 have win8 64bit on it? How much ram total? -
I am big fan of dedicated video cards. It's not a toughbook but my travel gaming laptop is a Alienware M11x. It only has 1.3 Core 2 duo ( I can overclock in the bios to 1.7 but I haven't had the need yet) but I can manually swap between intergrated graphics and a Nvidia 335GT and play several games.
I just leave the Nvidia card on all the time. Using it the CPU doesn't have to do the job of the GPU also so it takes a strain off of the system.
One of these days I may replace it with I5 6760/7750 CF-52 but I just haven't found the right one yet. The one that my oldest boy uses for travel is a Mk2 CF-52 with 2.4 core 2 duo ATI 3650m combo. I just picked up another one to get back fully working. Getting two more and I will have all the kids fixed up from there 74 Models. -
I am learning that the 4gb address limit for 32bit can also include video ram, dedicated or shared. That surprised me.
Somehow 32bit Win can use extended memory above the 4gb limit ....
I'm just reading little blurbs...I can't comprehend it at the moment anyway... -
I did notice that is is using almost 7gb total
I have to see if I can find that Intel memory usage program you are using. -
I used to think that you could use a 8gb video card on a 32bit system and all the 8gb would be available for video
From what I understand now, that is incorrect. Because 32bit OS can address 3.2gb of ALL memory, video included. -
You can make a "ram disk" with the extra ram. Also Springfield I think was one that found out there was a way to hack 32 bit windows and make it address more ram.
CF52-Win7, 32bit vs 64bit shared video ram
