    So could I switch the heads or whatever there called from the IBM adapter?

    I swap the cords from one "head" to another all the time, but I have the skills and the tools to disassemble, unsolder-resolder and re-assemble.
    I don't recommend that to anyone without the knowledge or tools.

    The part number recommended above by Cleve is a good choice that will work with no modifications needed.

    Ok. My last resort then is to idk put a thinkpad charger port on it or something. (Not gonna do that put beside the point).
