...without buying the entire palm rest assembly?

Or is it fixed to the assembly?

    Thank you again.

Excuse me, found info on the CF 29 here within this forum....

Although I seem to embrace "tricky" it seems it best to simply replace the entire palm rest with touchpad as they are easily found on used market.

    Admin, please delete if desired.
    Kind regards

I have done several 29's. The trick for cost savings is to get the palm rest protector off without stretching it. Then reverse engineer from there. Panasonic uses very good adhesive. Lift all pieces slowly and give the adhesive time to let go. Air re-work heat or a hair dryer can be an aid.
For a clean job get a palm rest protector first. :)

Good find Ken....that is a good deal....power board is there as well as board under the touchpad. And some spare cabling.
