I picked up a really spot on stellar car dock made for the CF-28 toughbook by Ledco. It has a break out box with a fuse and a full set of ports. My question concerns the use of a CF-29 with it, the TB fits in perfectly, and locks solidly. Will the DC current being fed through the dock match and work properly? Any other issues?

It should work with no problem. There were docks made (I believe) that would only fit certain models... But the voltages should be the same.

If it fits... Go for it!

    Oh, it fits, beautifully.

By far the nicest dock I've laid my hands on. The seller still has a couple of them for sale last I checked as well if anyone is really interested.

So even though the external AC-DC charge bricks are not voltage compatable, the docking ports are all the same between the CF-28 and CF-29 models? Its just a direct DC input into the breakout box, which then runs to the docking port. I don't want to fry my CF-29, I'm sort of attached to it.
