    Hallo.
Toughbook is virus, and I'm infected :)
After my first CF18 I just bough a CF29 MK5. It's looking fine, and works good. In Ebay auction it was at 520 working hours.
After 1 week usage, I checked in BIOS first page and the time was same, again 520 hours. Began to check the timer every day when the laptop starts, but no changes. Any ideas about this problem?

First question is how much time have you used it for? I am going to guess more than 10 hours but if not be aware the bios only counts in 10 hours increments (or so I have read).

I use laptop about 2 hours every evening.
What mean this? Bios doesn't count them, or counts them and will change the timer after 10 hours working time?
    I'll watch the timer.

We have had reports of the BIOS counting 10 or 20 hours at a time so yours might be counting at 20 . Check out post #12 of this thread http://forum.notebookreview.com/panasonic/603387-how-run-time-bios-hours-counted.html

good to know, I thought it was being displayed with 1hr precision, like it's on the SMART info data, on HDDs.

I didn't realize that some go by 20 and some go by 10.

I did win a $50 bet with my boss (CAAACHING!!) because he didn't know that they went in 10 hour increments as per the NUMBER you see :)

Yes, mine is working too, at 10 hours step :)

But, by the way, another question.
Is it possible, to be manipulated before, this accumulated time?
As far, as I know, if disconnect the main-board battery, clean all Bios adjustments and memory? Or I'm wrong?

That will not reset the hours.
