i have a cf 30 and a cf 29, i have made an image of the cf 30 and want to make it workable on my cf 29 and i believe i can do this with the hard disk firmware for the cf 29. i have already copied the cf 30 image to the cf 29 and it will boot half way then i get blue screened because i dont have the correct hard disk driver for it. i have searched the web for hours and even Panasonics website for it but can not find it. i need the cf 29 hard disk driver, thanks for any help

Why do you think this will work? The hardware is completely different.

I booted a cf50 with a cf29 image, but the hardware was very similar. I doubt a cf29 and cf30 will work, but give it a try and prove me wrong. I like thinking out of the box.

If you have a matching OS disk, you might try doing a Repair on the CF-30 image. Boot the CF-29 from the OS CD (e.g. a Dell Win XP Pro disk) with the copy of CF-30 software on the hard drive, but instead of installing the OS choose the option to repair existing installation. That should (re)load the right set of basic drivers.
