It seems that anything with a uk keyboard (last letter of model spec E) are never listed in the Panasonic configurator.

funny arithmetic!
Processor Speed: 1.2ghx x2 = 2.4 ghz V-Pro
I recommend buying 3 laptops and get 2.4ghz V-Pro x3 = 7.2ghz V-Pro with 10.4" x3 = 31.2" screen!Shawn likes this. -

Sorry not up with all the tech jargon.
By the way
Got into bios by hitting F10
Garry -
F9 is for battery recalibration.
F10 is for Hewlett-Packard
P.S. I like this thread!))

Hi all
My CF-19 was updated with windows 7 pro. Sent message to shop and they replied the bios is on F10 on my unit. Tried it and it was right.

Hmm,
F10 to enter Bios is not standard for Toughbooks.
But the 01 in the middle of the model number indicates it was built to spec for a certain customer.
I could not find out for sure who the customer was. Might be Nissan.
The customer must have specified to use F10 instead of the standard F2.
Bravo for hitting keys until you found the correct one -

Hi Shawn
I contacted (messaged) shop where bought replied it was on F10 on my unit.
I also asked about origin of the CF-19 but didn’t get an answer on that.

Hi
Update on situation.
I have returned said cf-19 as it was running 32bit ,and the programs I use need 64bit, I asked about the bios set to F10, as Shawn said it was a requirement set by original customer. Round of applause for Shawn right again.
I have now got a CF-19 mk5 I think (CF-19AHUAX1M) bios is F2.
Now looking for a emissive chiclet backlit UK keyboard non rubber.
Believe I have to join a long queue to find seems easier to find birds teeth,
Cheers

You can get a UK chiclet style non backlit keyboard.
So it should be possible to fabricate a UK backlit keyboard by swapping the UK and F12 keys from one of these to a US backlit keyboard...Garry Jones likes this. -
I happen to own a UK backlit non rubber keyboard for a CF 19.

That is a US layout. Just a heads up.
-
That is correct. As mentioned above it appears that Panasonic don't make a UK emissive keyboard....

A few years back they were selling them on ebay.

Wow didn’t know there wasn’t a uk version, now I know why you can’t get them.
Thanks User32
May go the Geraout way. A good suggestion.
Thanks folks -

Shawn, while this kb is UK and island-style, it's non-backlit.
You can see there is no 2nd (backlit) cable and no backlit sign on F12 key. Have them too -
Mine is backlit now.
Simple mod to convert to backlit.
I just posted the first photos I found of mine.
I never noticed the missing symbol on the F12 key. -
That's why I've called it extremely limited edition
