Does anyone know if the cf-19 motherboard will fit into a cf-18 case. I have a cf-18 but it doesn't really fit my needs with the memory restriction of 1.5 gb so I thought if the cf-19 motherboard would fit I could increase the memory so I could use windows 7 more effectively. Thoughts, ideas, suggestions, or just say it "you've lost your mind".
    Thanks in advance.

No it will not fit, one reason the 19 has a USB port in the back. If you want to use W7 then you should look at the CF-19MK2. The MK1 is a pain to get W7 working right.

Lots of stuff has changed on it. As Toughasnails said go ahead and get a 19. The Mk1,2,3 are the ones you will get the best deal on. Mk1 is core duo dual core, 32 bit only, max 4gb of ram, and as already said hell to get windows 7 working right. You have to do some bios flashing if it isn't already set up for vista on the standard touch model. The touch is also known to fail on the Mk1's. If you get a Mk 1 make sure it's a digitizer model. The Mk2 is a Core 2 duo, 32bit or 64 bit ( I have set up both), 965 chipset and graphics, and can take up to 8 gb of ram. The Mk3 is the first real revision. Panasonic swapped to LED lights in the display, beefed up the hinge area on the screen, on the lower case at the corners where the plastic palm rest was on the Mk1,2 models they shrunk down the plastic where it was metal at the corners now.

If you are looking for a old beater unit I still have a few left I haven't loaded OS or cleaned up yet. Been busy on other stuff.
