I'm not sure you can add this to a mark5. You might need to enter the optional kit configurator submenu in the bios. Good luck with that, I've been looking for that password for several months now, but panasonic refuses to give it. And without enabling it in the bios, it might very well not work.
If you find the password please pm it to me as i would love to add a fingerprint scanner. They only allow this option in Europe if you buy 25+ units :(

As far as I know, I think the antennas are there in the machine... Just need the right WIFI card...
Bluetooth is just a litle chip that goes on the board that controls the audio...

But, as Alecgod has said, no one knows this password.

    Thanks

Nope. They just don't want you in there.
I asked to upgrade my computer by the official repair center in the UK, but even that was refused. They even didn't have a price for it, they just don't do it. $µçk$ if you ask me.
Perhaps a micro-usb-wifi-dongle would solve your problem?

    @kerekt:

Prior to Alecgold's other thread mentioning the "Optional Kit Configuration Menu" I've not heard anyone else mention them. Does the CF-31 Bios contain the same or a similar sub-menu?

Anyone know if they exist on earlier CF-19's?

    o.g.

Yeah, that would't work. They are branded for these Toughbooks only.

    Hi

Wifi card added also wwan card too, in Optional Kit nothing about WLAN only ask WWAN id.
After BIOS setup, Windows not found any new hardware :-( Looks like my BIOS not accept new hardwares ...... I think i need bios update, becouse federal modell bios is restricted ...
Is there anybody how can send me BIOS update for my CF19Mk5 ?

    regards

    Tod

did you already install the antennas ? (being a federal model, it shouldn't have come with any antenna).
perhaps you would also want Bluetooth, the simplest way is a an intel 6235 card (wifi+BT), but I'm not sure if the standard mk5 has this version, or BT is on a separate daughter card.

user Alecgold here has a mk5, maybe he can enlighten us on the standard wireless options.
