The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Did the CF-27 ever have a factory GPS?
    What luck has anyone had at adding an aftermarket GPS added to the rim board?
    I have been searching and haven't found much so even a link to info would help.

    I don't think the 27 ever did. The RIM board mods are detailed in other threads on this forum, but those are for the CF28. There never was a "RIM board" for the 27. (I apologize in advance if I've just said a bunch of things you're already aware of!)
