Help! My Cf-27 Stopped Working On Battery.
It Worked On The Battery Last Night, And This After Noon It Would Not Power-up On Only The Battery. Now Last Night I Downloaded All The Applicable Updates For Windows 2000, As This Unit Had Not Had Any Updates In A Long Time (not Even Service Pack 2). I Know The Battery Is Good And Charged, I Tried 3 Different Batteries, All Of Which Work In My Other Cf-27.
Could Updating Have Caused Something? Or Is This A Common Problem With Thes Cf-27's. One Minute Works On Battery, Next It Wont. Even Tried Powering Up On Ac Power, Then Unplugged Ac, And Computer Just Stopped, No Power Till Ac Reconnected And Turned Computer Back On.

Is the battery indicator showing a bad battery by flashing red?
For testing hit F2 when booting and go into bios screen, then you can test safely, rather than within windows

Light Is Green, And There Is A Password For The Bios That I Don't Have. Also, I Read Some Other Threads About Bad Connections. When I Put The Battery In It Sort Of "dropped" About An Inch, So I Might Have Busted A Solder Joint, But All The Pins Look Ok.
Does Anyone Know Where I Can Download A Service Manual For This? -
New News! Now It Is Working On The Battery Iguess Since I Swapped Out Batteries The Computyer Did Not Like It, Etc. As For The Refresh Utility, As I Mentioned Their Is A Bios Password That I Do Not Have. How Do You Refresh From Windows?
