    i don't know..is it supposed to stand for something?
    it might just be the number of the model simply put.

    I would like to know too... I know some models are salt resistant (for salt miners???) and some others have other industry specific proprietary stuff on them. as far as the sticker on your hard drive tango, that is something a liquidator would have put on (spaced used etc...), we used to do that too when we liquidated laptops

    the 44 has no real meaning except those 2 positions are different for some companies, like verizion mark 2s are cf-29etk26km

    Salt resistance comes in handy around the Ocean. The Coast Guard has quite a few units along with the Navy SEALS where this comes in handy.

    As for the numbers in the model referenced, TBtech29 answered correctly. Sometimes the numbers do indicate various options though like on a CF-19 or CF-30.

    I see... the other one I just thought of too was the "hazardous location" model (CF-29N33GZBM for example)

    How come they don't make CF-30's with this... or do we think it's probably in the planning for the future, but not produced yet?

    I looked up the pricing today and WOW! It comes in 2 parts - the base and the LCD part which connect together. I don't even remember the exact prices but each part was more than $350!!!!

    Panasonic must be very proud of that case.

    Base = Part # DFWV99B0168
    Top = Part # DFWV99B0169

    I don't know how/where you got those numbers from because I googled them for one thing and got nothing. I also checked with Synnex and they got nothing in their database either... :/
