Can anyone tell me if the CF-30MK3 that came from Panasonic with no wireless...did it have any antenna's installed in the lid. Looking at a few and just don't want to run new antenna's. I know any other one I have run acrossed did have them but my luck the 30 won't.

Guessing....I would say Yes....I would also check that it has a standard Bios, "Funky" is NOT always fun. :(

....I stand corrected....a standard production run "with" is cheaper than a special production run "without"....TaN, make sure the units you are looking at have a Bios that locks out the USB ports & BT....it will be FUNky.

In my limited experience, the wireless cables are taped off neatly at the wlan card location. .....2 CF-74F, and a CF-29....maybe a CF-18/19. I did one today....74F..added wireless card and bingo.

Touchscreens are different...... in the 29 series..the cable is plugged into the mobo and there is no TSPCB....but the cable is there waiting for it in the lid. Again, taped down and lingering.

Very neat work. I love these things.

Some bios configurations as og said make it a little more fun. I am strictly talking hardware.

It slipped my memory with your question about the antenna's....Toyo & others have posted threads/questions regarding the MK3 AMI(EFI)Bios, the general comments being that the MK2 with Phoenix runs better.

I have a CF-30 mk3 that did not come with wifi or BT. Unfortunately, the antennas are not present. I removed the plastic antenna covers and the PC boards were absent (no wire openings also). I added an Intel 6235 wifi card w/BT for $35...just need to find some antennas.
