Can someone tell me whether this part number is the CF-19 caddy with 320GB HDD (complete package) or is it just the HDD? I can't seem to find any pictures nor find it in any service manual.

I bought a similar part for my CF-19 and my CF-30. It was a complete caddy with HDD.

Trust me it just a hard drive without a caddy. Like this one...

Why is it called a plug-in module? If I was a betting man, I'd bet that it is the complete caddy. ;) As I said, I have bought similarly described new parts, from an internet retailer, not eBay, that were a complete caddy. New in Panasonic packaging for a comparable price.

You know I bought a cf-30 caddy with a hard drive in it and it did come in the box with this part number CF-K30HD1631.

If these part numbers are a complete HD’s and caddy It is a true bargain….But if it sound to good to be true…

Order one and expect to get just a HD if you get a caddy too you hit the lottery!

You can buy a Samsung 7200rpm 320GB drive for around $60 so if the caddy is not included (trust me its not), you are getting screwed. 20 different sellers (at least) are not selling CF-19 caddies and drives for $110-130. These are the grossly overpriced drives from Panasonic marked down to just twice what they are worth.

Thanks for all the replies. I called Panasonic on this and they really don't know what they are talking about. I asked if that part number was the caddy and HDD or just the HDD. The reply was "just HDD" Then I asked him what was the listing for a caddy and any size HDD. He came back with 'CF-K19HD1211 with a 120GB drive. What? Based on that info, then CF-K19HD3231 should be the caddy and 320GB HDD. Right? The only reply from him was "Is there anything else I can help you with?"

I will order one and let you all know what comes in.

I recently ordered this from Buy.com and I can confirm that this part number is for the complete caddy and 320 GB hard drive. All for less than $100.00. Not a bad deal.

I run into the same thing with my 30. " blinq" was selling a CF-K31HD1611 and I emailed them and they did not know what they were selling. They told me it was just the HDD..... come to find out it was a caddy and 160GB HDD :D
