Charger gone and nearly shocked myself

Today after getting back from the parcelforce depot where i got away with only paying £69.29 ,
i came home switch on the toughbook and was going to see how windows tablet edition will be once installed i got half way through the install when the battery light came on meaning battery nearly dead so i grab the charger from under the table and plug it in and it wasnt charging check the plug, all was on,
then notice the lead bitten and just for 1 sec i touch it and it gave my a light shocked so quickly switch it off,
called my dog and the way she was looking at me i knew she did it.......
well now am looking for a new charger, lucky i have a car charger coming in on monday but till then my toughbook is stuck half way on a windows install, so without my toughbook for the weekend areal shame.....

 

Can't you go to a Radio Shack (or whatever you guys have over there) and get another connector and splice it in? A soldering iron and heat shrink tubing would make quick work of it!

well thats a very good idea,
there is one nearby well 10miles so will check that out tomorrow, also there is the market on tomorrow as well so going there and see if i get a bargain or 2.........

here my luck i rewired the pin connector to another laptop adapter and it worked for around 3hrs and burnt out..........
