    Com switching on CF-31 when docking

    It looks like COM ports are switching around on us when we dock these things (still testing this)
    We are using the GPS that's built into the Verizon card (sierra wireless) not the GPS from Panasonic
    The problem is we are using COM 4 for the GPS-- which needs to be set/match in the CAD software---and COM port keeps changing


    Any thoughts on how to keep these from switching? should we use the GPS from Panny?(since we use NMEA, it opens up other issues...)

    Device Manager - Properties of NMEA device - Port Settings - Advanced
    Change COM Port Number to something like COM15 etc. Set this number in your software too.
