I recently bought a toughbook CF-U1G new open box heavily discounted, and found out why after I received it. It has a numeric keyboard, and not a full keyboard. I called Heartland, and the conversion pieces were reasonably priced, so I purchased them. However, only a few of the keys work when I swap the board, the delete, return, and function keys. I have tried updating drivers and eventually backdated to Windows XP (I was planning on doing it anyway) but the result is the same.
Any advice on how to get this keyboard to work?

Good luck is all I have to say! It's a TON of work.
Not sure on the driver side though... -
I'll make a guess and say a BIOS flash from one with a full keyboard.
5 to go:thumbsup: -
Any ideas how to get a BIOS flash from a full keyboard computer? I have a couple other CF-U1's, but they are MK1's (U1A's) -
