This has probably been covered before, but how can I find the part numbers for the corner protectors on the LCD of my CF28? I have searched the forum, and I have heard that I can get them from Heartland (Services?). However, I don't know the part numbers, and the exploded view diagram in my service manual pdf doesn't show the corner pieces separately. I don't have the external antenna, but that corner piece and the antenna cover is mashed and split open. It was that way when I got it. I would like to refinish the lid and replace the corners to freshen it up and keep the corners watertight.

    Thanks if you can help,
    Bernie

    Check here : LINK

You should be able to find the part numbers there and call heartland.

    Thanks Zippy-Man,

Although I didn't read every parts change notice, I couldn't find a callout for the corner pieces in any diagram I saw. The diagrams I found via those links are identical to the one I have. Similarly, the parts list isn't clear because Panasonic is probably using some nomenclature for the corner pieces that isn't obvious.

    Thanks,
    Bernie

    Bernie,

I am not positive on this, but there might be part numbers stamped on the underside of the corner protectors. Panasonic marks quite a lot of parts that way.

Here is the manual u need it shows the lcd and corner caps : LINK

The corner guard that is on the left if the lid is closed and the front is facing you is:
    pn#: DFGX0270XB-0

It might not be the same model but i think they will work. When you call heartland give them the part numbers then your model number and they will make sure the parts will work on your model. When you call ask for kara she is very helpful.

    Good luck

    -James
