Custom Toughbook Badge

made this on the laser.
Mine is a CF-30 I guess if people want them I can make more.

I dunno, like 20 including shipping. Let me know what you want on it. and if it's a CF-30 If not, someone will have to send me exact dimensions so I can make one for other models. I know there is a slight difference. I have both a 28 and a few 30s

I like that, lol. I have some of the stuff to change up my CF-30 but just haven't done it yet. I have done a windows 7 skin for Apertue science. Going with a white skin over the original silver lid with Aperture logo.

 

Wow that is nice badge, good job...now all you need is a Custom License Plate Frame

 

I can put pretty much anything on them, I mean it doesn't have to be the zombie thing. I laser cut and engrave them. THis particular one is black/white/and brushed stainless looking. here's a pic of a wood piece I did the same way.

I think it would be hilarious to put the presidential seal on one and carry it around. haha "oh um I found it." LOL!

 

I think your laser gun's going to be worn out before the zombies even get here... and Milla told me yesterday at breakfast that lasers don't even work on zombies.
And why bother engraving them? Just shoot the muffers.

If anyone wants one, and it's NOT the same size/shape as a CF-30, then take a picture STRAIGHT ON and From a DISTANCE to eliminate barrel distortion. Then measure accurately the center horizontal points. I can usually reproduce one that way.

If a guy can handle getting a laser cut tattoo, he is definitely tougher than the Toughbook he uses. :thumbsup:

 

I'd like to think that I was one of the earliest modders here... I think my join date shows that... (Find someone who posts here with an earlier "join date" than I have!)

...And we have had a HUGE Toughbook gene pool with (seemingly) unlimited brain power... Really, from across the globe. Something most website WISH they had... (Collectively we could rule the planet!) We have all this...

But Rob got the tattoo! He's definitely BAD... He even has the wallet to go with it! (You KNOW the movie!)

I swear Panasonic should hire him just because he had the stones to tattoo that on his arm!

Next... He will get one a little "south".... When he's cold and bored it will look like a CF-18... When he gets excited it will look like a CF-31...

I do all my work in Photoshop so I can save the file as anything you like. I would want to design something for the lid though... Not just put my regular logo there.

 

Keep in mind that it will be monochrome. Obviously using a laser is a subtractive process and no color other than what is in the materials.

 

NEWEST!! and if youre a BSG fan, you'll notice the rugged cutcorner shape of the TB gpes right with it.

I'm also interested in a custom design if you are still doing these! It's for a CF-31 but I'm pretty sure its the same size as a 30, but I will check.
