    Memory:Onboard 256M DDR PC2100 memory
    HDD:40GB HDD
    LCD:10.4" TFT XGA,Touch Screen

Wifi:Only minipci slot,no wifi card ,have no any antenna
    PC card slot:TYPEII×2
    Serial Port :D-sub 9 pin X 1
    Monitor Port: mini D-sub 15 pin X 1
    USB Port : X 2
    Mic/Speaker Port: each X 1
    Pre-Os:Windows XP Professional SP1

    ---------------
I have read Decodeing Panasonic CF-18 Model Number, but still can`t make sure the exactly North American Model Number.

    I guess should be:
    Major Model is "MK1"

Sub Model maybe (each line correspond a model digit)
    CF-18
    1. C - Pentium 900Mhz Ultra Low Voltage / No wireless
    2. H - 10.4 XGA High Bright Touchscreen
    3. A – 40GB HDD / 256RAM / dual ant conn
    B – 40GB / 256 / dual ant conn
    K – 40 / 256
    1 – 40 / 256 / dual ant conn / haz loc(What location means Haz loc?In my bios,there is a temparature option)
    (this digit can`t be sure.)
    4. Z – none
    5. X – base model(base means what?I don`t know)
    Z – none
    1 – secured HDD Door(what`s this?)
    this digit can`t be sure.
    6. K – XP Pro
    X – XP(maybe can exlude)
    7.E – not N America
    F – ”
    G – ”
    P – ”
    S – ”
    T – ”

    ------------
So ,the final Model perhaps be:
    Code:
    CF-18 C H A Z X K E
                  B Z F
                  K 1 G
                  1 P
                                          S
                                          T

There's no such thing as a "North American" model number, or "Japanese model number". The model numbers are global, and obviously some ranges of model numbers will be on sale in different areas.

The last letter denotes the intended region, and usually stipulates the OS language and keyboard. I know that E is for English (UK), M is for American, and I think F is French. Not sure on the Japanese letter, but I'll take a flying guess at J as I can't really think of any other pertinent countries beginning with a J that would require their own keyboard (Jamaica would use English/American).

"Secured HDD Door" is when the HDD flap is secured by a special security screw that needs a special screwdriver (the screw is in the recess for the catch, so you can't actually undo the catch).

If memory serves, "Hazloc" means hazardous location, and is factory lingo for UL1604 / ATEX units (units that are designed for use on oil rigs, covered in leather to prevent sparks, no 3G etc etc).

EDIT - are you sure you have the model number correct, the format is CF-18xxxxxxx (ie. the primary model number followed by 7 letters denoting the exact configuration). You seem to have a suspect model number as I don't believe CF-18A really exists.

Yeah... You are missing the letter. Don't go by the sticker... Look in the BIOS.

Definitly suprised and a proverbial eye brow raised. I can't find any mention of CF-18A units on my system...

Although if it was a Japanese-only model which would appear to be the case from the info you provided, then you probably won't be able to get any service manual from Heartlands or Panasonic. And chances are if you manage to get it, it'll all be in Japanese :p

I just called Japan Toughbook Support,
    They said
"Japanese Service Manual not provided for enduser,if possible, pls read English Version of any similar model."
    :)
I think its the final result.
So my hope is here, depends on your.
I will still finding the document. I think My model is MK1,and CF-18C

And last night,a screw near by keyboard toughly fixed ,I almost destroied it,but can`t remove it.

I am thinking other way to remove it,like use fire and ice.
    :)

CF-18B is probably the closest you will get then, but there may well be several significant differences between the unit and the service manual.

Little differences for you may be significant differences to others...! Especially as none of us have any idea what you need the service manual for :)
