Anybody have the specs on the rear port replicator for the 27 & 28's? Is there a difference in the connector? The cases look the same... just wondering if the ports are the same configuration...

The connector in the replicators are the same for both. If you're just looking for a desktop replicator, the 27 replicators should work for you. (I'm assuming they haven't switched pins around anyways, I still haven't wired mine up into my car).

The automotive replicators however... The mount latches onto the 27s in a different way than the 28s need. It'll need some metal work done to fit them in. They are worth it to get though if you have any metal skills, just because of how cheap you can pick up a 27 replicator for. Just cut off about 1.5" off of the tabs up front, and you may have to bend them up a little.

That's what I was assuming as well.. It wouldn't be a problem for me to modify..
It was the car mount that I was looking at anyways...
    Thanx for the answer.....

You'll see what is needed to modify it when you get it. The major problem with it fitting is around the power button area, and you'll need to mirror the opposite side. It took me about 45 minutes to make the 28 fit.
