Managed a great deal on an FZ-X1A, its running android 4.2.2 and the whole X1 range can run 5.1.1 - not new, but new enough for my needs.

The model of my unit just doesn't show up on the Panasonic site... Its an FZ-X1AKAAACJ
I've managed to install the latest 4.2.2 security update for FZ-X1AAA/FZ-X1ALA but the corresponding 4.2.2 to 5.1.1 update fails - the tablet recognises the update as valid and goes through the initial stage, reboots the handset then fails at 12.50% unable to copy delta files.

I've tried redownloading the update, factory resetting the device and retrying, but stops in exactly the same place each time.

Just for fun I tried an update for a different region device and the updates installer didn't detect it so the one I'm using looks like the correct one.

I know this is an incredibly niche machine, but if there is an expert anywhere, I'd expect to find them here!!!

    Any help very gratefully received!

Are you updating from a SD card or connected via USB to a Windows machine?
I am just throwing ideas out there. Maybe it only works one or the other?

I'm following the install instructions and copying the update file into the downloads folder on the device, then running the update from internal storage option in the updates menu.

The machine detects the update package, tells me that it's unpacking and will restart, restarts and proceeds to install, then stops at 12.50%

May be it's still of interest.
On my FZ-X1AKAAACJ runs Android 5.1.1.

    Look for
    tcd_tough-12-01-003-023
    or
    FZ-X1A Series (Updates from Androidâ„¢ 4.2.2 to 5.1.1)
    on the WEB.

Thanks for that link - I managed to ugrade to 5.1.1 the process wasnt quite documented, but it relied on getting the correct 4.2.2 update on, then the 5.1.1 installed and now the tablet is so much more useful!!
