Hey guys, i just installed an emissive keyboard on my CF-29L and everything works great except the back light does not stay on.
It lights up as long as i hold the FN and F12 keys down, but as soon as i let go it turns back off.
Any ideas what could be causing this?

I would clean the contacts and try again... It's either that, a torn ribbon cable (Check for that when you clean the contacts) or a bad keyboard. (Doubtful!)

Did you have the power wire upside down,
It gets folded over, the opposite of the way you would think it should be hooked up
Or was it just a bad connection

I did have it in there the right way, but either was not pushed inn far enough or just a bad connection.

    Works great now though...
