is the dedicated gps antenna any good in this tablet? im having trouble receiving gps signals with it. it will work ok if its outside but it never really acquires more than 7 signal. i have 2 cf-31's and they usually have 12 or so inside.

the gps module in the wwan works a fair bit better than the dedicated one. i know it has the pass through antenna ports on the tablet are those automatically switched when docked into a compatible dock?

What software are you using to check the satellite aquisition?

I've found that different versions of the Panasonic Viewer give different results.
    Worth trying another version.

I also have shoddy reception on my MK1 G1 W7. I use streets and trips for maps and navigator and xport (it reads the gps/com port and creates virtual ports since multiple applications can't read the same port simultaneously)
