I'm having some issues finding clear answers to a few questions and lots of luck finding contradictory answers.
Which software package should I load onto my G1 to operate this card?
Will this card do Tmobile GSM? How?

It's not cheap but at least you won't need to upgrade later on.Last edited: Apr 3, 2019UNCNDL1 likes this. -

I do have in my possesion a "Dell Inspiron Mini 1012 Genuine Mobile Broadband 3G 4PRVK EM770U HSPA Module GLP" for Tmobile
Os there some g1/panny restriction preventing me from using that?
I'm not sure why I would have to have more than 3g for my needs?
I have it in my cf30 but never pursued setting it up.Last edited: Apr 3, 2019 -
I know there is some Ericsson cards for Toughbooks, never heard of Huawei variants. Give it a try, maybe it will work. You might encounter issues with the wwan id though.
As content on internet is getting heavier and heavier, eventually 3g will feel slow.
I added a EM7455 to my CF-20 and the speeds are fantastic. -
I just added your card to the comparison post above. I can't find any information about someone trying this Huawei card in a Toughbook or any other Panasonic computer. Beside being available to purchase and specifications, there is not much community involvement behind it. It is similar to the MC7700 but does not support LTE and 3g/4g download speeds above 7.2 Mbps(MC7700 should get to at least 42 and possibly up to 100).

As it turns out, I also have an MC7700 (gsm 3g) and a MC5720 (sprint)
I will report back. -

Is there a table or single source/doc explaining the "optional kit configuration" settings?
