Compared to Waterfox 64bit?
Kaspersky auto updated my CF 52 to version 57. It actually seems MUCH faster. As long as I can get over losing my addons.
Anyone using it on a FZ G1?

Have been using it for a bit now, really liking it thus far. Some of the UI changes and option placements still confuse me but I imagine I'll get used to it without much hassle. It's also not vulnerable to the Chrome cryptocurrency exploit so all's good

Yes,
I am sure much of my concern is just the interface changes and my reluctance to accept change -
Re Firefox - removed it even from my linux server because it's the only software that loads cpu to 100%)

So it's up to you.
As for Firefox, I haven't used it but it doesn't let addons to change GUI so I am not jumping on it. -

So far---57 seems like an improvement.
From what I read Kaspersky seems fine as long as I don't work for Gov't.
I will avoid ANY political discussion. -

I don't like Firefox 57 so I downloaded Waterfox. That I like. I was using Chrome but wanted to get away from big brother.

I installed FF a few weeks ago and really liked it at first. However, it seems to be too much of a memory and CPU hog at times.

Installed Heinz 57 on the GeeOne..
Tweaking it some. Neat feature under customize is the Touch screen . It moves the buttons further apart.
Many addons do work. Some of the ones that are disabled just need to be manually reinstalled from the addons page.UNCNDL1 likes this.
