The Commell website has several special mini-pci cards, including

    a special videocard on minipic
    -gps
    -mini pci audio card

    and much more.

this can be nice, when you want to mod you toughbook. I myselve, am interested in the mini-pci videdocard. Maybe you can make a very old toughbook , like the CF-27 or CF-M34 able to use HD graphics....

    here is their website:
    COMMELL MiniPCI

An this one is funny. My CF-M34 uses a standard Lynx EM4+ videochip, but guess what ? It seems that there is also a mini-pci version of the Lynx EM4+... so, in theory, i could "upgrade" a CF-M34 mk1 (that has the neomagic chip) with this IBD150 card...

PCMCIA can also be used to add a videocard. Here are some PCMCIA videocards:

    - VTBook DVI/VGA Dual Display Video PCMCIA Card with 32MB DDR and 3D acceleration. http://sewelldirect.com/product4.aspx?productId=582

USB 2.0 external videocard. Some modding to put this inside the toughbook connected to the internal USB 2.0 and then put the VGA port to the outside hull could be done (i guess)

Do some research before you buy. All of the Toughbooks that I have worked on will only accept a WWAN or WLAN (wifi) card in the mini pci or Mini pcie slot. I tried to put a TV card in my cf29 with utter fail. Tried several cards and found that the slot only works on wifi cards. I ended up mounting a usb card internally.

    I tried ordering from Commell.
The postage to the UK was more than the cost of 2 Cards..!
That`ll teach me to live on an island..!

A Dutch company Abigo4u.com also sells the Commell cards (like the MP-Z9s). They might be cheaper to send the card to the UK.
