I had mentioned in the past that Panny has a page on formatting the SD Cards. I had ran across it by accident so I want to post it for anybody that might want it.

This line from the FAQ for the software concerns me," This software is not compatible with Panasonic "HITO" CF-X1 Series computers with a SD direct slot. We are planning to implement such compatibility. "
The list of compatible equipment that the software works with seems pretty limited.
Also this page has a discussion that indicates that there are problems using this SD Card Formatter software, HERE. -
I hate to be a pessimist but is the point of having an SD formatting utility?!?!?!?! I've never installed this on any of my toughbooks that I've worked on.

why not just use windows format to format your card?

Boys, boys, boys. There was a member a couple of weeks back that was looking for this web page. I had mentioned I had seen it and would look for it for him. I did and here it is. I for one, see no reason to do this to my cards.

Sorry Toyo, I was not disparaging the information that you posted. I just felt like it was a good idea for me to mention that I found out that the software was problematic to run on a Toughbook, on a Toughbook Forum.
Found the Panny SD Info Web Page
