Tip of the Day for any interested... :D

If you use a Seagate or Maxtor HDD you can download a free copy of Acronis True Image from their website. It is re-branded, and called Seatools or Maxblast, depending on brand HDD that you use. It is a more limited version then retail, but will work just fine for this purpose. It will work if you have any HDD made by these companies in your system.

However, I have never tested these versions on a system without a Seagate or Maxtor HDD, they may work anyway...

A lot of these "Timed" trials leave little bits in your registry... Unless you know how to edit it all out... You may not be able to just simply uninstall it and then reinstall it to get the latest version.

Acronis does a whole lot besides just cloning... And it is very user friendly...

I do it only if i have to migrate to a bigger or newer disk and then uninstall it.
and this happens usually once in a lifetime on a pc
And if you uninstall mediately after using it you can get a new version over it because you didn't use it the full 15 days (counts the days that it start up on your pc)

If you need it often, buy it, it's a damn good program !
