    Alltel offers the following two cards as FREE after Rebate.

    Anyone used them with a CF-28 and have helpful feedback, please?

    * PCMCIA Type II
    * Hinged antenna with external antenna support
    * 1x/EvDO Rev. 0 compatibility


    UT Starcom PC5750
    * Axcess MobileLink/Broadband-capable

    That depends on what you plan to do. If you are ok with it sticking out the side and having your PCMCIA door open, they'll work. If you want it to fit in the internal slot, I'd need to see a picture and dimensions.

    I think they are both stick-out-the-side types, don't know if I could disassemble them and stuff them
    inside.

    I recall reading on this Forum efforts with mini-pci devices that use the built-in CF-28 antenna for wireless
    but are they for EVDO?
