It has plenty of chew toys but when I heard this sound at the base of the sofa I am sitting on, I was pissed!!! put her outside for now.

What can I do to prevent this behavior? I heard tabasco sause would work but it would dry and it would be a matter of it comming off the cord. Please give me a answer befoe I drop kick my dog into the next neighboorhood. Just kidding, love the dog, but IT MUST learn from its mistakes.

They make some kind of invisible odor spray that should work, I know it works on cats to keep them from a area.

Nothing helps. We have a cat (Quigley) that chews through power cords.
I have replaced the 12 volt cord more times then I can count to the Uniden phone.
He has chewed up many of my wife's ear bud cords also.

    Maybe 240 volts would work

Only other way, wrap it with metal braid and energize the braid with small ac voltage and current. The instant she touches it zap! never again will she touch it. Another idea, splastic braid with tiny spikes stiking though it.

Get the stuff they paint on girls fingernails to keep them from chewing them. It tastes like crap... Very bitter.

I remember my mom doing that to my sister. It cured her!
