I have about ten more cf-18s to get painted, and then they go with us to Bolivia and Peru. Wow, sounds like a glen fry song....

I'm also working on some for Honduras for later in the year, but was reading yesterday online an update on the orphanage. It seams that the government politicos there bought the last election with the promise of a minimum wage increase of 70%. They delivered, and its had a huge negative effect as many workers, including 20 at the orphanage lost their jobs, as there wasnt enough money to pay them with the rate increase. Because of the shortfalls, the orphange had to cut out all chicken and pork from the kids diet, so the only protien will come from the rice and beans mix.

So, to put this in perspective, you’re an orphan in the third world, living in a country with few job opportunities without a solid education, where the teachers and school system go on strike more than 100 hundred days a year out of 200 scheduled; and now, they’re going to take the chicken and pork from lunch and dinner to be supplemented with more rice and beans. It just never ends...........

I think we’re going to have to move those kids up the list, give them some computers to work with sooner than later.

On a side note, to my other friends who had requested jackets or bags, and you know who you are, please resend via IM your address and sizes. In a fit of stupidity, I saw my inbox full and deleated the new messages by mistake instead of the old ones before I could print the address labels. Dope!

Please be aware that I found the matching rain pants for the jackets, so they will ship as well.

Also, the individual who last month had asked about a battery for another brand of laptop, please Im me with your address as well if you still want the battery.

And Jeff, theres always room for another and the need is endless. BUT, no hurry, I'm still finishing what I have. AND, you should expect a big box, I shipped it last week.
