Hi!
Having revived a beater CF-74 with a used touchscreen to good health, I would like to do the same to another CF-74 in much better condition. But I would like to use a new touchscreen so that hopefully it would never need replacement again.
It looks like the CF-74 uses the same TS as the CF-29 the Fujistu 4 wire one for the 13.3 screen. The panels I have seen advertised for Toughbooks look like they mostly originate in the US and obviously I would prefer to source one closer to home in the UK!
So is there a Fujitsu part number to help identify the one I need?
Like everything else these days it seems our Chinese friends are producing these so are there any good quality alternatives/ones to avoid like the plague?
Cheers!

I've used the China panels a few times. Main thing I found (one time) is I felt the front glass was a bit brittle. Hit a little bump installing and the panel shattered. Should not have happened I felt. (clumsy or not)
I have also used panels from techtuff...they were fine. Andre has done a lot of research on this subject and others and I recommend his advise.
A fujitsu number would be nice. Maybe Shawn will look it up.:hi2: -
