    GOBI dropping connection on CF30

    Anyone having problems with the GOBI ? seems either ATT and Verizon get constant disconnects for me on about 6 laptops ( so far ) running win XP sp2 on cf30 MK2 .....any help would be great ...thanks in advanced

    No problems that I am aware of. Could it be a driver issue?

    not sure if its the driver ..we are using the panasonic software that changes the firmware ont he GOBI to either ATT, Verizon or Sprint.. i did get news from panasonic just couple minutes ago that ATT has released new software for the GOBI, waiting on our field rep to call me back as it can only be got from the field rep...

    But the problem is with both att and verizon and as you know ATT is GSM and verizon is CDMA so it would use diffrent drivers depending on the provider you choose..

    Yes, of course. I did forget about that. AFAIK, the only problems were getting it set up in the first place. Once set up, it seems to work fine. I sure hope that patch works for you. Please keep us updated on your progress so others can benefit.

    Try to inspect all antena connection or termination. I have a feelings that somewhere along the line, it may be loose. If it is not the software.
