This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I just built my replacement for the old BEAST I've been running XP 64-bit on for so many years... AMD Phenom II Quad-core 3.0Ghz with 4GB RAM and a 1.5 GB Geforce 9600 card... Of which $139 was the Processor that my wife bought me for my birthday!

    ALL TOTAL it came to a QUARTER of what this video card costs!

    GREAT GOOGLEY MOOGLEY INDEED!
