I'm fairly sure there's no GPS in my CF31. Now I've done the Tecro-Tech HD camera install it got me wondering if the machine has GPS at all (I've hunted through the Windows device manager and can't seem to locate anything), and what GPS kits for CF31's are out there...

It's a Mk3 CF31 - So not bleeding edge current but not bottom-end 'pov pack' config.

I hope everyone has had or is still having (!) a wonderful 2018 Christmas!

    Craig.

There is always the manual method.

    Four screws.

The white cable leads to the gps port on the mobo.

The leads from the spare cmos battery are actually feeding the GPS board. It's buried under there.

Of course this is a MK2.

Need a new lens on the cell phone. :D

I remember there used to be very good GPS upgrade kits available (probably still are - don't remember the seller) for CF18/19 and CF 29's. Doing the camera install got me thinking when I had things pulled apart.
