I just purchased a CF 29 (model number CF-29CNKGLDM) and I am supposed to be receiving it today. According to the config tool, it has GPS in it, my question is, if it does, what do I need to do to get it to work. I have bought a number of toughbooks, but never one with GPS. This one is for a friend of mine from Boy Scouts and it would be great if the GPS works! Thanks for all of your help in the forum, you guys are great!

Make sure the GPS is enabled in the bios
In device manager under com ports look to see what is shown
Com 1 is the legacy 9 pin serial port on the toughbook
Probably find built-in GPS on com 3, maybe 4 , you have a wwan option on that model so it uses 2 extra coms for that , so its a bit confusing as 4 or more com ports will be listed
Set Baud rate to 4800 ,on com 3 to start
Download and install this link and run it selecting 4800Baud and com 3
