GPS softwear for CF-28

I know that this has been touched on in some of the other threads, but I thought that I should start this one up on it own section,as there are a few of us with GPS Lap'ys now,and only god know how long it could go for. lol

What GPS software are we all using for our CF-28 and other models?, pro's & con's and all that fun stuff in between. I have some time before my card gets here so I have some time to get the software too......

At the moment I'm looking at the CoPilot lite 5 one, anyone else using that one too, or know of a better one?

 

I have used and tested the following with the cf-28 -

Copilot
Infomap
Navigator 6
Memorymap
Fugawi UK
PrymeNav
Microsoft MapPoint 2006
Microsoft Autoroute 2007

Also i have tested the following using a emulator -
Route 66
Tomtom all versions
Navigon
Magellan
iGO 2006
Destinator limited edition(personal hack)
Via GPS
Garmin (not tested yet)
Navman (not tested yet)

My fav is PC Navigator as there is alot of hacks you can do with the software,
also just today i got full WORLD maps for it....:smile:

The only resson I'm looking at CoPilot is that it the only one have been able to get my mits on so far, and thats with Europe maps ( not that I'll be going there soon lol). So I would still need to find the Aussie maps for it.....

ok, just did a google for PC Navigator 6 and only come up with TomTom Navigator over 100 times, thats not the one you mean is it?

Yup... PC Navigator would be nice to have!

 

Looks like a good setup, Tho having a hard time finding any Aussie maps for it tho, can't even find a working torrent it lol.

 

i doubt it'll ever be up as a torrent unlesss someone did it of the forum,
am going to check today which gps software i have with aussie maps and let you know.........

Is there much difference between PC Navigator and Mapfactor Navigator? All I know is that there from the same mob....... I didn't find much info on there site about it...

only ones i have with aussie maps is tomtom,

 

LOL, ok just got PC Navigator 6, and know that i can get TomTom 5, so i may have to get that on too lol

just had a look and play with the Navigator 6, not a bad program, tho still cant find Aussie maps for it. just waiting on the TomTom now and i'll have a play with that one and see what I think.

 

I asked around at work and this girl i know she from australia she said she might have some aussie maps, dont ask me for what software as she didnt know her self,
but she'll bring it in on the weekend so i let you know then.........

straight too the point from work,
the maps i use are for navigator 7 but i run them on navigator 6,
main reason i find navigator 6 more stable and better specialy now with maps from ver 7........

did you get the copy of tomtom,
i got update patches for tomtom 5 also the maps you need...........let me know

 

i have tomtom home and a few other tomtom 5, but i need a emulator to run them, so learning about emulator nows.

what emulator do you use mate?
