    Gobi 1000 miniPCI-e card only in CF-52?

    There are under $30 individual carrier cards on ebay. I was reading earlier in the forum there is difficulty recognizing these other-than-Panasonic-Gobi cards in the Mark II. It would be great to get a Verizon card and maybe use that card with my GPS software. Any luck? [​IMG]

    IIRC the Panasonic Gobi cards do not have the GPS function enabled. There was some discussion when they first came out that Panasonic blocked or omitted GPS on the Gobi to keep selling OEM GPS.
