If I remember correctly, 6-8 months ago they cost 750$.
Assuming my memory is correct that is a deal.

Your comment spurs me on to ask my question again...

    Pretty reasonable for new technology?

If it pays for itself. Or if you are a technomaniac :))
Do you have a need/use for that speed?
I'm more than ok with 4G 30-50Mbit/s (and we can see 100+). And even 3G ~10-14Mbit/s are ok while on the move. Will your CF-31 handle that speed?

p.s. Also for 5G you have to update your Windows to 11 and get 3rd covid vaccine dose.

Thats a great question. Thank you for asking. My biggest issue is that within the last 3 months Ive had massive intermittent connection drops and reconnects many times a day even within an hour. I turned off the VPN and that kind of helped but still many disconnects. I believe that the 5G protocol will make my connection more stable. Heck I cant even close my 31s lid without skylight disconnecting.... As far as I know, there's no setting that performs that type of action. I haven't changed any settings.... service is Tmobile.

    Provide thoughts or solutions? Thanks

Panasonic recommends not to use Skylight. Your Win7 has it's own connection manager, maybe it will solve the problem (miraculously ).

Note: Connection manager is not required for Gobi-5000 (MC7355 or EM7355). Whenever possible, it is recommended to use Windows Mobile Broadband as the sole connection manager.

Try to change Windows keepalive settings

Let's fix that small problem :))

Hmm interesting. The registry entry must have changed because I don't remember doing it.

I have Win7 (and EM7455) so I can't have Windows Mobile Broadband..... yet...

EDIT Odd, I don't have that entry in my registry...

Or you can install other software, even something like Telegram with keep alive enabled :))
Hmm. I think there is broadband connection manager in win7.

Oh i think i missed the "create it" portion.

Also, it says nothing about how to create it. "new" - "key" "string" "binary value"??? Do I right click the "parameters" folder? How is this actually done?
